Dr Hyde Page conducts Independent Medical Examinations (IME) for workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, third party and public liability matters. These may be conducted on behalf of the worker, employer, plaintiff, claimant or insurance company. He has a special interest in referrals with a musculoskeletal component of upper and lower limbs, back, neck, and spinal problems. 

Dr Hyde Page is a WorkCover Trained Assessor of Permanent Impairment. He is a Medical Assessor for the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) for both workers compensation and motor accident matters (for both the Motor Accident Compensation Act 1999 and Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017). He is an Authorised Health Practitioner with the PIC.

Before the introduction of the Personal Injury Commission, Dr Hyde Page was an Approved Medical Specialist (AMS) for the Workers Compensation Commission (WCC) and an Approved Assessor for the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA). He was an AMS and Approved Assessor for both the WCC and SIRA since their inception in 2002.

 

Dr Hyde Page is trained in the use of AMA Guides 4th Edition and AMA Guides 5th Edition, as well as the Motor Accident Authority Guidelines and Workers Compensation Guidelines in determining levels of whole person impairment. He has also undertaken many assessments for Comcare and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
